1.Place the bulgur in a saucepan, cover it in water (the water shouldn't be more than 1 cm above the bulgur), cover the saucepan with a lid bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and let simmer until soft. You can add a few drops of olive oil if you like.
2.Place the washed lentils in a medium-sized saucepan, cover with water and cook until soft
3.Wash and dice the carrots then cook them until tender
4.Wash and chop the peppers, green onion and parsley.
5.Slice the onion into rings
6.Combine the cooked bulgur and lentils and vegetables in a deep dish and toss with the olive oil, lemon juice, salt and herbs.
